The couple Tom and Cynthia Kruger comes to visit Basquiat’s studio.

Aninna Nosei (gallerist): It is a beautiful painting and it is still free.

Cynthia: I don’t know if I could live with this one. I like it, but the green is sort of institutional.

Tom: Sweetheart, have you been in an institution lately?

Cynthia: I don’t know. I just don’t know if I can live with the green.

Basquiat: You want me to make it a nice shit brown?

Tom: I beg your pardon, nobody makes fun of my wife, but me!

Cynthia: I can’t make up my mind. I really like this one but… it is the green.

Basquiat: Get a fucking decorator. These paintings aren’t even done yet.

Tom: We’ll take the green one.
