YOU CAN DRINK
Do you have a drinking problem?
Alcoholism is one of the most common addictions all around the world. The social acceptance of drinking can often lead to denial—and, if left untreated, severe consequences.
Problems with alcohol can start much before the development of alcohol addiction, so it is important to recognize the signs of an early tendency to alcohol abuse and take steps to cut it back.
1 – DO YOU USE ALCOHOL TO SUPRESS OR ENHANCE YOUR EMOTIONS?
If you are sad and drink to become happy this will make of drinking an escape from your problems, frustrations and grieves.
Difficulty in dealing with one’s own feelings and the denial of sorrow are the most common causes of alcohol abuse.
If you are anxious or worried and drink to relax or to have courage to confront a situation this will make of drinking a necessity to face life.
It is preferable to go anxious and full of fear, but to go sober. You will learn much more from each of your attempts or efforts and become self-reliant in the long run.
If you are happy and excited, try to enjoy the spontaneous flow of these emotions without magnifying them with alcohol.
It is absolutely delicious to feel naturally ecstatic and drinking would quickly bring you stupor, abbreviating this pleasure.
2 – DO YOU DRINK TO SOCIALIZE OR TO LOOK COOL?
It also happens with psychodelics or party drugs.
Some of us are naturally extroverted, some are introverted, ones are simply introspective while others are shy.
It is the human nature to be different and to have a peculiar way of interacting.
It is important to understand yourself and your nature.
APRECIATE AND LOVE YOURSELF JUST THE WAY YOU ARE.
Interaction occurs or develops instinctively if you have passion for what you are doing, if you are at the place you wanted to be, with the people you feel comfortable with.
YOU NEED NO ALCOHOL.
3– ALCOHOL AND DRUGS STEAL YOU FROM YOURSELF
AND YOU LOSE YOUR CAPACITY TO DECIDE AND CHOOSE
THIS IS THE HIGHEST PRICE TO BE PAID
Your movements and your behavior can be judged as artificial, even shameful.
Nothing is shameful in life since it is your choice, it is your decision and you are expressing yourself.
But you cannot blame people for being judgemental if you were not being totally yourself and unaware of your moves.
STRIVE TO BE YOURSELF
THE MOST YOU CAN
4 – ALCOHOL AND OTHER DRUGS INDUCE HANGOVER AND DEPENDENCE
Again, do not use them to maximize the fun.
The first effect is euphoria, even creativity, but followed by numbness and dysphoria.
Then, you will need more alcohol to get out of the blues.
5 – DO YOU MIX ALCOHOL WITH ANOTHER VICE?
This is the quickest way to get trapped in both.
Example drinking and smoking.
In general the association of drugs is made to counteract the opposite effects.
Alcohol to relax or to lose one’s inhibition and tobacco to enhance the attention.
Cocaine to speed up and heroin to slow down.
This makes addiction even deeper. Avoid at any costs.
6 – WHEN TO DRINK?
YOU DRINK FOR THE ACT OF DRINKING
YOU DRINK ALCOHOL AS YOU DRINK TEA IN THE JAPANESE TEA RITUAL
This is a beautiful metaphor.
The japanese tea ceremony is synonym of presence and significance.
That’s the way you should do anything in life, including drinking, with attention and awareness and not associated to any expected effect to deal with suffering, difficulties, responsibility, distress and growth.
You can drink in a way of apreciating your action WITHOUT LOSING YOUR CAPACITY OF DECIDING AND CHOOSING, AS TO KEEP TRACK OF WHO YOU ARE IN EACH MOMENT AND IN EVERY CIRCUMSTANCE OF YOUR LIFE.
REMEMBER
YOU WERE BORN TO BECOME MORE AND MORE YOURSELF
NOT TO SCAPE FROM WHO YOU ARE
FROM WHAT YOU LIVE
REMEMBER
YOU ARE BORN TO BE A MASTER
NOT A SLAVE
YOU ARE THE MASTER OF YOURSELF
OF YOUR LIFE
WALK ON EARTH LIKE A MASTER
THIS IS THE GOAL
🙏🙏🙏
